My studs are .375 above the lugs??
I might of had a little more sledding knowledge than 1.25 years, maybe 1.251246824 years?

Deano, maybe you need to turn the angled studs backward for stopping from what i've seen. ( uuhuumm trailing arm meets hard object) It is an ideal set-up though. Gotta love the tall nuts. I trust yur knowledge.

Do not put any on the outside for what your doing!!!!!!! NONE!!! Only in the middle, and make sure there is not to much differance between 4 rows. You don't want heavy fluctuation at higher speeds, lotta mass to rotate.
Straight= stopping
Angled= accelleration

Yeah looks sweet Harold, but yur gay azz ride don't have the coolers right where you put the mo fo protectors. If I had yur money i'd be puttin in the double backers and all da fancy shizz.
I just got 140 used ones with square backers. I resharpened all the tips. some backers are a little tweaked. I would say they are 1 1/8 studs so they'll only stick out about .125, in which case to buddy's point i shouldn't need those handicapped track rubbin sum biches.

On 144" I used 152 studs with double square backers with 1/4 of them double angled backers. Notice the tunnel protectors.
Straight= stopping
Angled= accelleration
See the right way to install studs below......

I wouldn't want it! I would give the ticket to Mike and tell him to cash it and give me 50 million in cash (He gets $30M) and never mention my name to the media.
I wouldn't do shiz with it because $50,000,000 in a bank account earning 1.5%/year would bring a return of about $750,000/year or maybe in a CD for a year at 3.5%/year would bring about $1,750,000/year.
I could be very happy with 1,750,000 a year and growing for the rest of my life.

I just heard that when they did, that the sleds were heavy and not really ridable so Yamaha stopped producing em.

Sure it makes a difference douchebag. Much different sound on a sportbike type bike with pipes than a cruiser w/ pipes.
I have never heard a loud FJR. Most are pretty tame even when slip on's have been added.
The previous owner of my neighbors bike added twin "Two Brothers" exhaust, so it's louder than stock, but than again your the expert, LOL! :S
don't sweat it, I didn't read your post yet anyway.
I was just spittin' that out cause it was at the front of my brain at the time. ie; torets, ADHA, ADD, obsessive compulsive disorder, insomnia, anger issues etc...
LOL!

I didn't mean you when I was typing, I'm sure there are none of those rude guys are here on this site. I am sure that all the Harley riders on this site are courtious to their town and neighbors. So you should feel good about owning a piece of American history that used to employee many Americans years ago.
Now that the Japs make all the parts for Harley, it almost seems like you are putting one more American out of work for every 15 bike's that are sold, keep up the good work!. :S

They don't make an FZR 1300 douches. They make FZ6's and FZ1's. If your gonna try and name the model get it right Clarence.
In the 1300 platform you have the XVZ13, FJR13, and the XVS13.
Does the model number really matter? I think the size of the motor and sound of the pipes is the issue, not the model number, LOL!
Oh, I see how it makes a differance if it's a 1300 FZR, FVX or FYou.
Glad you have the big picture in mind. :S

Hell Yeah! A nice sounding full yosh system on a 6hondo GSXR twisting at 15,500rpm drowns out the clunkity cklunk thru the megaphones of those harley's that are ridden by mostly "really bad mofo's that ya don't want ta be messing with"
Yeah, at15,500 rpm that is what you would expect. Not at anything under 1500rpm.
